THE COMPANY

Over the past two decades, CAM has established itself in the industrial automation sector, evolving from artisan to specialized industrial applications for complete turn-key projects from design to factory start-up.

With expansion have come innovative developments for the future.

Flexibility and responsiveness to customer needs are the driving forces behind all company activities.

The production facility consists of four buildings: One building for mechanical machining and testing, one for assembly, and two others for assembly lines and welding cells.

TECHNICAL OFFICE

The 3D - 2D technical office (400 sq. m.) uses CATIA V5 and THINK-DESIGN 2006 (16 stations) for design, plus one ROBCAD station for simulation of automated lines and robotized modules.
For converting between different CAD formats, advanced two-directional ACHELON (UNIGRAPHICS-CATIA-THINKDESIGN) software is used.

The CAM office for 3D paths is directly connected to the Technical Office.
Advanced IPER 1000 software is directly connected to the CN machines.

AUTOCAD, XFLUID and EPLAN software is used for creating electric and pneumatic diagrams.

MECHANICAL MACHINING

Six C.N SELCA are connected to a network: Six milling machines, three lathes, three vertical lathes, two presses.

The carpentry and different mechanical work is outsourced to a group of trusted external suppliers / partners.

MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL

Four machines for 3D measurement (size 4000X1600X1200 and 3200X1600X1000).

Two FARO arms and a 3 API LASER TRACKER. METROLOG XG software is used for all machines.

ASSEMBLY AND WELD TESTS

Assembly is carried out in one building and automated lines and modules testing in two buildings.

Weld tests and pre-series testing is done using our power plant with onboard pneumatics and electricity.
